Luther College - B.A., Biology and French

Experience

I have earned my Biology degree, but I hope to further my education. I am currently attending Luther College where I am studying Biology and French. I would love to eventually procure a PhD in Biology, perhaps for Neurology or Immunology.I have taken a French writing course and am fluent in the language, so I often tutor others in the subject. I also know Mandarin Chinese. Additionally, I tutor test prep for the SAT, Medicine, Social Sciences, Biology, and Genetics. I feel that each student requires individualized attention so I tailor my teaching methods to their needs. Each student learns at a different pace and requires unique strategies to help them learn best.While I enjoy my work, I also appreciate some time to myself. I am a songwriter and use the piano in most of my accompaniments. I also took up guitar and am having fun learning. Nutrition is also a strong interest of mine, and I often attempt to incorporate healthy ingredients into my desserts. I do occasionally indulge in some sweet treats though. Organic banana bread with some chocolate chips is a favorite. I also sketch, paint, sew, and read, often while outside enjoying nature.
